Extra Curricular Activities Autumn 2014

Board Games
This club is run by Mrs Emmett on a Monday after school for years 1 and 2. The aim of the club is to enable children to play board games together. This gives pupils the opportunity to play with children across school, from different classes, year groups, and children that they might not usually play with. It will help develop skills such as turn taking, sharing, and learning simple calculations and all with an understanding that the fun is in the playing not just in the winning!

Cheerleading is run by Miss Webster on a Monday night after school for year groups 3, 4, 5, and 6. Dance can help improve fitness, stamina and coordination. Come along and have some fun!

Homework Club – Years 1,2,3,4 and 5
We run a homework club after school on a Friday. We provide a calm, safe space for children to complete their homework, which consolidates their learning in school. There are qualified members of staff on hand to supervise and offer support to children with any queries or difficulties. This club is open to all children in school, except Year 6

Homework Club - Year 6
This club is only available to Year 6 children on a Friday after school. It is run by Mrs Sugden and Miss Anderson. Make the most of this extra support in this very important final year of primary school. Clubs are run throughout the year on a termly basis. This is purely due to limited spaces. This way we can ensure all children have the opportunity to try one of these exciting clubs.
All clubs are open to both boys and girls and are available to all children across the school unless stated above.

All staff are qualified and are CRB checked.

Keep watching this space on our website for more information about exciting up and coming clubs!
