During the Summer Term of 2018 the Swain House Signing Choir opened the Summer Fair with two signed songs.

During the Summer Term of 2018 to celebrate One Britain One Nation the Swain House Signing Choir performed 'This Is Me' for the OBON team.

During the Summer Term of 2017 our Signing Choir went to Bradford City Park to perform the poem 'Lark Ascending' in British Sign Language.

During the autumn term of 2014 our we organised the starting of a sign choir under the tutelage of Paul Whittaker OBE of Music and the Deaf.  The children in the ARC were joined by a group of Year 6 hearing children on a Thursday afternoon where they would practise signing the words to familiar songs.  The scheme provides the children with a good male role model and access to interpreter level sign as well as promoting social interaction between the key stages and deaf and hearing children.

As a group they joined other schools at Huddersfield Town Hall to take part in ‘Reach for the Stars’, a workshop organised by Music and The Deaf.

The choir had the honour of opening the 2014 Summer Fair with performances of a Disney medley and ‘Walk Like a Roman’
